Gunners Barracks is iconic Sydney venue, perched on the edge of the harbour amongst the gorgeous bushland with views over the city. It's the perfect Sydney city wedding venue and this night did not disappoint. Andrew and Jess said their vows overlooking the harbour with a cruise ship toot along the way and their guests enjoyed a stunning sunset.
Andrew and Jess meet through friends a few years before and have loved living along Sydney beaches and harbour together. They wanted their wedding location to combine what they so enjoy about Sydney and their love for the outdoors. Family and friends flew over from all over the world and the days leading up to the wedding included lots of celebrations I hear.
Planning an outdoor ceremony in Sydney at this time of year can tricky. The night before their wedding a big storm rolled into the harbour and drenched us all that evening on the way home. We woke the next day to a very wet but sunny Sydney day, luck was with us one their day.
My favourite moments from their wedding was the dance-floor. Her grandmother was wheeled around the dance-floor which I believe is a tradition in her family and every grandparent, family member joined in for celebrations.
